HOTWIRE
In March of 2022, the JGCC POA Board entered into a 10-year Bulk Services Agreement with Hotwire Communications to install a fiber optic communication system throughout the community.
The Bulk Services agreement, which was effective on November 1, 2024, provides services for 1G internet and basic television. The pricing for these services is included in the quarterly POA dues. At present, the portion of the dues aligned to Hotwire is just over $90/month, and will increase by 4% each year of the 10-year agreement in addition to any new or increased taxes.
Property owners that wish to add additional services from Hotwire, such as expanded television programming, home phone and security systems, will need to contract directly with Hotwire to add and pay for these on top of the basic package for which all residents will be required to pay.
Please note that property owners are NOT required to use Hotwire services, and may choose to utilize another provider for internet and video. However, the Bulk Services Agreement requires all property owners to pay for Hotwire as part of the quarterly POA dues, regardless of their use of Hotwire.
